WebRegular SE beacons have more module slots in them to make up for the beacon overload limitation. You still get a good bonus to machines while not having to spam beacons so much which is nice on the power grid. With a bit of research in space you unlock even better beacons too. I'm playing a modded Krastorio 2 / Space exploration multiplayer game. I disabled all enemies when generating the game, so there shouldn't be enemies or bases at all. When landing on a new planet, there were suddenly biters, and they immediately attacked.
