Webb17 feb. 2024 · Hi, everyone - my first real post. Recently picked up a 2016 Goldwing trike with Roadsmith kit. Dealer says I need a rebuild on rear CV shafts - and that there is a leak at the "Pumpkin seal" - at the gearbox where the CV shafts go into. I don't know what all of this means. The dealer doesn't do that work, so they asked me to find someone who does. As I’m cleaning the inside, it looks like some of the factory sealer is falling away from the inside where the axle tubes plug into the pumpkin (differential) case housing. The yellow boxed in area is the old sealer. The red is where non is anymore.
